I've never really written anything about any of my sessions or weddings so I guess this is a good place to start. Most weddings you get to do engagement photos and build a connection with the couple before the big day. Devin and Donovan had already taken their engagement photos when they contacted me. I could tell trough our emails that they would be a great couple work with but I didn't realize how great until I met them. They are such laid back and genuine people that I instantly felt comfortable. Not to mention, Donovan is Tar Heels fan. I knew then it was going to be a great wedding.
Midway through the day we had some crazy weather but Devin and Donovan took it in stride and just went with it. Not to get all sentimental but I think thats what marriage is about. Weathering the storm in the bad times because you know it will get better. It was nice to see how they interacted with each other. How patient they were and Donovan trying to make sure Devin ate something even though so many people were trying to get a moment with her. It was a great day and i'm very thankful they chose me to capture it for them. Ok so enough of me rambling on. Enjoy these photos and let us know what you think.
